Juanita J. (Parsons) Loggie, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Overlook Healthcare Facility in Charlton.
Her husband of 43 years, Rev. Robert D. Loggie died in 2002.
She leaves behind a son, Kevin A. Loggie of Charlton, 2 grand-daughters, Hailee and Opal, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Tindall of Indiana.
Juanita was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa the daughter of the late Robert T. and Hope (Taylor) Parsons and lived here for several years, prior to that she was educated and lived in the Hartford area.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Christa L. Loggie.
Juanita was a graduate of Earlham College and Hartford Seminary Foundation School of Religious Education and earned a degree in Christian Education. She was a special education teacher at the Monson Developmental Center in Monson, MA. and worked at the Seven Hills Foundation.
She enjoyed playing cards and reading.

A Memorial Service for Juanita will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 PM at the James C. Nicholl Chapel in the Overlook Healthcare, 88 Masonic Home Rd., in Charlton.
Burial will be at a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery in Athol.
The ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., is assisting the family with arrangements.
