Dana Edmund Roberts of Bolton, MA was welcomed into the arms of his Savior on January 16, 2015. Like the apostle, Paul, Dana tried to be all things to all people. He loved his Lord, his family, the Church, and the opportunity to talk to anyone about anything. He was extremely intelligent and could make anything in his machine shop. He could fix anything. He loved to play guitar and make melody in his heart to God. He was a friend and mentor to hundreds of people. He was happy to share his viewpoint on any occasion, and usually, he was right.
He grew up in Saugus, MA and attended North Shore Christian School which his parents helped establish. He was a graduate of Lexington Christian Academy class of 1971. He owned and operated Roberts Machine & Engineering for nearly 30 years.
He was the fifth of seven children born to Merton A. Roberts and Theresa (Powers) Roberts. He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers, David P. Roberts and Timothy M. Roberts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Katherine A. (Visockas) Roberts of Bolton, four children: Benjamin and his wife Jennie of Fitchburg; Amanda Mack and her husband Ben of Oxford; Edmund and his wife Shiloh of Princeton; Christine Pieculewicz and her husband Brian of Bolton. He also leaves 9 grandchildren all of whom he loved deeply. His four surviving siblings are Elaine A. Teal of Beverly, MA; Steven T. Roberts and his wife Judy of Newton, NH; Mark E.Roberts and his wife Bonnie of Londonderry, NH; and Carrie L. Turner of Saugus, MA. He was born one of 35 first cousins on his mother’s side.
Calling hours will be held Fri. 1/23/15 from 4-8pm at Heritage Bible Chapel 182 Brooks Station, Princeton, MA. Memorial Celebration to be held at the Chapel Sat 1/24/15 at 11am.
