Larry N. Hoover, 86, of Anderson died on January 16, 2015 at Community Northview Care Center following an extended illness.
He was born on November 18, 1928 in Tipton, Indiana, the son of Claude and Ollie (Clifford) Hoover. He retired in supervision from Delco Remy after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Chesterfield Christian Church and the Elks Club. He was an avid golfer.
Family surviving includes 2 children Kathi (Dale) Wisehart of Shirley and Mark (Donna) Hoover of Alexandria. 3 Grandchildren: Jeremy (Amber) Wisehart, Matthew( Maggie) Hoover, and Melissa (Rob) Chandler. 4 Great grandchildren: Stuart Chandler, Logan Chandler, Kash Wisehart, and Nora Grace Hoover, a brother, Jake Hoover of Anderson, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara C. Hoover, his parents, and his brother, Ned Hoover.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10 AM at Chesterfield Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Ned Clark. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-7 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Chesterfield Christian Church.
