William T. “Kilroy” Ashby, 82, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his home.
He was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church and the Owner & Operator of Alvin’s Auto Service, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Shively Masonic Lodge # 951.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Pike) Ashby; parents, Anna Mae and Francis Ashby; son, James T. Ashby; and sister Rosie Ashby.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Ashby (Lana); sister, Mary Duvall; granddaughter, Lori Hollon (Junior); six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Savannah, Phylisha, Phillip, Vinnessa and Thomas.
Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be Sunday at 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
