Born Jadwiga Teresa Langner on September 4, 1925 in Biezdziadów, Poland.
Passed away Saturday morning, January 10, 2015, 89 years old.
Beloved wife of Walter J. Korycki (deceased, November 15, 2012), married 67 years.
Loving mother of Stanley (Helen), George (Callie), John (Stacey).
Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren - Kristine, Heather, Kimberly, Misty, Sam, Evan - and 7 great grandchildren - Brianna, Taylor, Jordan, Dominic, Emily, Melanie, Abby. Aunt of nieces and nephews in Poland.
Harriet was a long time resident of the Brighton Park Neighborhood, a lifelong member of the Polish National Alliance, Holy Rosary Society, White Roses Society Group 33, Union of Polish Women in America. Harriet loved taking care of her flower garden, indoors and out. But in lieu of flowers, she would be happy to see a donation made to her church, Five Holy Martyrs.
Visitation will be Saturday January 17, 2015, 8-10am at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Mass at Five Holy Martyrs Church at 10:30am, followed by Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice , IL.
