Shirley M. (Briggs) Antobenedetto, 87, of Medway, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Alesandro R. Antobenedetto who died in 2003.
Born in Framingham on August 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Christina (MacDonald) Briggs.
Mrs. Antobenedetto was a resident of Medway for the past 60 years.
Before her retirement, she worked as an activities director at Willowbrook Manor in Millis.
Mrs. Antobenedetto loved to shop and enjoyed her role as a homemaker. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at cookouts and on daytrips.
She is survived by two daughters Sharon Guerin and her husband Bert of Bellingham and Linda Harvey of Medway, one son Alec Antobenedetto of Franklin, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Diane Blood and Alice Antobenedetto.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Medway Community Church, 193 Main Street in Medway on Saturday, January 17 at 11 a.m.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
