Goffstown– Emile J. Pinard, 86, died January 11, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on November 15, 1928 the son of Hercules and Victoria (Champagne) Pinard.
He served his country in the Air National Guard.
Prior to his retirement he had been a heavy equipment operator for Manchester Water Works.
He was a member of the VFW.
He was predeceased by his wife, Juliette (Saindon) Pinard on May 28, 2007.
Family members include 1 brother, Omer Pinard of California, 1 sister, Lena Zarakotas of Manchester, 3 nieces, Rena Pellenz, Michele Locke and her husband Peter of Derry, Bonnie Goudreau and her husband Ronald of Goffstown, 2 nephews, Ronald Pinard and his wife, Connie of Colorado, William Saindon and his wife Lisa of Goshen, great nephews and great nieces, Jason Locke, Kelly Couture, Amy Hutson, Krissy Gallagher, Mark Pinard, his companion, June Goss of Goffstown and his beloved dog, E.J..
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Cathedral, Pine and Lowell St.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd. Manchester NH 03102.
