Lisa Kent age 51 of Brockton, died Friday January 9, 2015 at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the Oliver Kent of Dunedin, Florida and the late Bernice (Solow) Kent. A 1981 graduate of Brockton High School she also received her associate’s degree from Massasoit Community College. For the past several years she had been the office manager of Evans Machine Company, Inc. in Brockton.
Lisa loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a sun goddess who loved the beach. She will be remembered as a lady who was full of life and loved being with her friends. She was loving, caring and giving of herself.
In addition to her father Lisa is survived by her two sisters Laurie DeCelle and Lynda Kent both Naples, Florida, a niece Amanda DeCelle and her best friend and boyfriend Rich Linehan of Brockton.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
