Shirley A. Hoyen, 79, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, January 11th in the St. Francis Home. She leaves a sister, Helen Morin of Worcester; two nephews, Raymond Morin and Thomas Morin and his wife Denise, all of Worcester, and Christopher Morin and his wife Jennifer of Shrewsbury; a niece, Susan Morin of Somerville; six grandnephews and two grandnieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of George and Nooritza (Donabed) Hoyen and lived here all her life. Shirley was an assembler and a stitcher at the former L. Farber and Capital Shoe Company.
A visiting hour is from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 14th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral service will follow at 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Hope Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Francis Home, 101 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
