Barbara Ann Gafford
Augusta, GA – Barbara G. Powers, 80, entered into rest on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Georgia Regents University.
Mrs. Powers was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was an active member of Lakemont Presbyterian Church, John Tabb Sunday School Class and Keenagers. She retired from Richmond County Data Entry and License and Inspection.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Lakemont Presbyterian Church with Pastor Noah Kiser officiating. Burial will be private at Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Powers is preceded in death by her parents, Doris and William Gafford and sister, Betty G. Beard. She is survived by her children; son, Cash Powers, Augusta, Georgia; daughter, Lee Ann (Richard) Pendarvis, Edgefield, South Carolina; grandchildren, Katie (Michael) Parnell, Jenny, Maribeth and Allison Powers and Lilli Anne and Bailey Pendarvis; great grandchildren, Michael and Ellie Grace Parnell.
