WILLIAMS, Barbara M. (Sabo) 87, of Needham, January 8th, passed away peacefully. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rose Sabo, her brothers, Rudolph, Randall & Joseph, her sisters, Margaret McKinney, Helen Williamson & Rosemarie Murphy. Also predeceased by her husband, George E. Williams; daughter, Roberta M. Sullivan & Regina M. Kaplan. Survived by her sons, Mark C. Williams of Mountain Home, Idaho, Stephen J. Williams of Needham, and five grandchildren. Barbara enjoyed working for Standard Oil Company and later worked as a lunch monitor at the Joyce Kilmer School in West Roxbury. She was a former clerk at the Veterans' Administration and retired from the Saving Bonds Division of the Department of Treasury. Barbara was a devoted mother who also enjoyed cooking, gardening, collecting antiques and furniture, and socializing with friends.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Tuesday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham, at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
