Mary Louise Harrell Lyles, 94, of Lake Park died Friday, January 9, 2015, at South Georgia Medical Center Berrien Campus in Nashville. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Lyles at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, where she will be laid to rest. Rev. Brett Jarriel will officiate.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lyles was born on July 26, 1920 in Tift County and was the daughter of Ed Harrell and Lessie Carter Harrell, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. She was a retired school teacher, owner of Lyles Laundry and a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of Frances Lake Baptist Church in Lake Park.
Mrs. Lyles is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Melissa Lyles of North Augusta, South Carolina; two daughters and one son-in-law, Livia and Frankie Harper and Vivian Counts, all of Hahira; one sister, Jane Davenport of Chesapeake, Virginia; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Counts, Michelle Copeland, Khristen Whitson, Raymond Anderson Counts, Kevin Lyles, Eric Lyles, Bryan DeLoach, Jonathan Harper and Danielle Harper; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two nephews, Larry Harrell and Don Chandler.
