Stella D. (Kasparian) Kasparian, of West Roxbury, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on January 9, 2015. She was 88 years old.
Born in Boston, Stella was a Graduate of Boston University School of Nursing where she earned her Masters Degree in Nursing. She later taught at the Mt. Auburn Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an operating room nurse at Mt. Auburn Hospital. Stella was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed being independent. She spoke her mind often, and you never had to question where you stood with Stella. She was a caring, devoted neighbor, always helping others and participating in the West Roxbury Civic Association as well as the West Roxbury Neighborhood Council.
Stella was the dear and devoted wife of the late John Kasparian. Loving mother of Fredrick J. Kasparian and his wife Catherine of NY and Richard J. Kasparian and his wife Barbara of TX. Cherished Grandma of Zachary, Richard Cody and Sarah. Dear sister of Lillian Derderian of Beverly. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside prayer service was held January 16, 2015 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown.
