Bedford– Ernest R. Levesque, 84, died January 7, 2015 at Bedford Hills Heathcare Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Nashua on March 21, 1930 the son of Raoul and Lillian (Belanger) Levesque.
Prior to his retirement he worked for Moore Business Forms. He was a member of the Alpine Club Drum and Bugle Corps and at the Boys Club as a Muchachos volunteer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and working in his garden.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ethel (Bugbee) Levesque on March 25, 2008.
Family members include one daughter, Debra Lavoie, 6 stepchildren, Joni Salvas, Pamela Gallagher, Carol Boyle, Robert Salvas Jr. and his wife, Sheila, David Salvas and his wife Margaret, Karen Salvas, one grandchild, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, three brothers, Raymond Levesque and his wife Ginny, Normand Levesque, Paul Levesque and his wife, Marlene, sister in law, Theresa Levesque.
He was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Levesque.
A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
