Obituary

Emilian W. Larue 92, of View Ave., died January 4, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Dolores (Frigon) Larue. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Wilfrid and Eva (Guilmette) Larue. Emile was an automotive mechanic for most of his life. He served in the US Army Air Force during WWII achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant, and was a recipient of Eighth Air Corps Medal, 2nd Air Division Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal of Honor, Four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Presidential Unit Citation, the EAME Theater Medal with 1 Bronze Star, the RAF Medal, and the American Campaign Medal. He was a member and past treasurer of the VFW in Cumberland.

Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Rita Dennis of Greenville, RI. He was pre-deceased by three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd. in Cumberland. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
