Barbara B. Emerson, 88, of Medway, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Cornerstone at Milford Assisted Living.
Born in Milford on February 1, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Ruth (Blair) Emerson.
Miss Emerson was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1943.
She was an office worker in the former Draper Mill in Hopedale until it closed, and then worked part-time at the Medway Laundromat.
Miss Emerson was the sister of the late John M. Emerson, Jr. and is survived by her sister-in-law Helen and three nephews, Robert, Dale and Steven Emerson, all of California.
She is also survived by her dear friends, Jeff and Cheryl Hladick of Medway and Emily Melzar of Medfield.
Graveside services will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
