Obituary

TILTON – Rose Marie Patten, 64, of 480 Laconia Road, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on January 26, 1950 in Franklin, the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (LaClair) Hollins. Rose Marie worked for several years as a Assembly Worker for Beede Electric. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and loved bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was known as a wonderful woman, a loving wife, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Patten of Tilton, her son, Benjamin Miller and his wife Diana of North Carolina, her daughter, Tammy Holso and her husband Bruce of Webster, three step daughters; Jamie Magoon of Franklin, Carrie Chase and her husband Joseph of Tilton and Khristine Patten of Tilton, one brother, Robert Hollins of Lakeport, three sisters; Carol Nedeau of Gilford, Brenda Patten of Tilton and Linda Rollins and her husband Robert of Northfield, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Harold Hollins and one sister, Mary Sulloway.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia.
