Paul R. Quigley Sr, 69, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2015 after a prolonged illness. He was born on June 20, 1945 in Boston, MA to the late John and Dorothea Quigley.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Nancy (Murphy) Quigley. They were married on January 15, 1972 at St Thomas Aquinas in Jamaica Plain, MA. Additionally, by his daughter Jennifer Quigley, his son Paul Quigley Jr and his wife Marcia, his son Todd Quigley and his fiancée Jenna. He was a devoted grandfather to Matthew, Emily, and Draek.
He grew up in large family including the late Walter Quigley. He leaves behind brothers Edward Quigley, Arthur Quigley, William Quigley, Robert Quigley, Patrick Quigley, Fred King and sisters Carol Dunkley and Marguerite Robinson. He was a warm and loving presence to all family members including many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He served proudly in the US Navy and was awarded several honors such as the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and a Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon.
Services will be held at Richard A. Davis Funeral Home in North Plymouth on Monday, January 19th from 4:00-8:00 PM. His funeral will be on Tuesday, January 20 at 10:00 AM at the National Veterans Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
