MILLBURY: Josephine H. (Bettley) Mahoney, 78 of 149 Riverlin St., died Monday, December 20, 2004, in Radius Healthcare Center, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 53 years, James Mahoney; three daughters, Patricia A. Rudzinski of Worcester, Dianne M. Wilmot of Worcester, Kathleen A. Cote of Millbury; three sons, Michael T. Mahoney of Oxford, Daniel J. Mahoney of Rochdale, James E. Mahoney of Worcester; three sisters, Elizabeth Faneuf of Auburn, Catharine Hearns of Malta, New York, Eleanor Wolosz of Worcester; a brother, Normand H. Bettley of Saco, Maine; 13 grandchildren: and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Conrad R. and Lillian M. (Welch) Bettley and lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Millbury in 1989. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and was a member of St. Brigid's Church in Millbury.
CALLING HOURS are 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, in ST. BRIGID'S CHURCH, 59 Main St., Millbury. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA,
