Obituary

Robert W. Wager, beloved “Pop,” age 79, passed peacefully on December 30 with his treasured family by his side. Loving husband of 56 years to Mary P. Wager; loving father to Michele Wager Freeman of Kingston, Maureen Wager Kessell of Plymouth, and Michael Robert Wager of Kingston; loving grandfather to Jimmy, Katie, Brian, Marissa, and Jillian and great grandfather to L’il Jimmy. Pop graduated from Plymouth High School, 1953. He entertained many audiences as a professional musician, and loved to fly. Pop was a meat cutter and manager for 30 years at First National and went on to serve with true commitment as a business agent for United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 328. You could find Pop at local coffee shops laughing with old friends, but he loved nothing more than to be at home surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and always remembered with love and respect.
