MEREDITH - Lawrence H. Walker, 99, formerly of 25 Ridgewood Avenue died at Forestview Manor, Meredith on Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Mr. Walker was born on March 19, 1915 in New Hampton, the son of the late Albert and Edith (Tilton) Walker. Lawrence worked for 23 years as an Assistant Foreman at Scott & Williams and also for Cormier Hosiery as a night foreman, retiring in 1980. He enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling and hiking.
He is survived by two sons, John A. Walker and his wife, Annette, of Missoula, Montana and their daughter Loralei Walker and her spouse Bridgett Korman, and Douglas A. Walker and his wife, Cheryl, of Portales, New Mexico; two daughters, Ann E. Walker of Boscawen and her son Chris Little, and Dawn E. Mooney and her husband, James, of Belmont; three nieces; Donna Lowell, Mary Gallagher and Pam Kelly and their families, one nephew, Chet Walker and his family and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Madeline (Huston) Walker in 2007, one grandchild, Zachariah Walker and two brothers, Chester J. Walker and Clarence A. Walker.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be held in the spring.
