Betty (Bailey) Painting, 91, of Manchester, died January 3, 2015 at her home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Salyersville, KY on March 28, 1923 to Floyd and Daisy (Conley) Bailey. She lived in West Chester, PA and Manchester for many years.
Betty worked at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Lexington, KY for many years. She enjoyed antiques and quilting and was a creative home decorator.
The family includes her husband of 58 years, Donald H. Painting of Manchester; a daughter, Lynne B. Painting of Hooksett; three grandchildren, Andrew, Rebecca and Alitheia; one great grandchild, Ethan; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five siblings.
A funeral ceremony was held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
