Charles A. Powers, 78, of Windham NH, died Friday January 2, 2015 from complications from his battle with cancer and heart issues. He was born in Cambridge, MA on September 28, 1936, one of seven children of the late James and Harriet Powers. He worked for Sanders/BAE System for 40+ years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lorraine S. Powers, his daughter Laura, his son Christopher and his wife Lisa, and his grandchildren Alexander, Timothy, and Emily; his brother Ernest Powers, as well as many nieces and nephews.
There are no service arrangements per his request. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Charlie's name. P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
