Obituary

Colin X. Domings, 57 years, of Brockton, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at the Brockton Hospital after being stricken at his home. He was born in Cambridge, raised in Somerville, and was a graduate of Dom Bosco High School. He was the son of the late John and Ida (Butterworth) Domings. Mr. Domings was a veteran who served in Vietnam with the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

At the time of his death he was employed as a pressman by the John McIntosh Printing Company in Canton where he had been employed for the past seven years.

He enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, fishing and time spent with his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Elizabeth A. (Jensen) Domings, two sons Todd C. Domings of Wakefield, NH and Shawn R. Domings of Brockton, one daughter Kerry A. Domings of Brockton, three brothers William, Francis and Gerard Domings and two sisters Marilyn Castonguay and Mary Bouchard, four grandsons Devin, Nicholas Brendhan and Tyler, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 11:30am. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15pm
