Obituary

Phillippe H. Levesque Jr. 86 died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, after a short battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Gabrielle (Dutremble) Levesque for sixty three years. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Phillippe H. and Eva (Cournoyer) Levesque Sr. Phil lived in Woonsocket for sixty four years before moving to North Smithfield twenty two years ago. He worked for the Tupperware Co. as a mold polisher for twenty two years before retiring in 1986. Phil served in the US Navy during WWII.

He was a happy go lucky guy who would help anyone that needed help regardless of the time or place. He had a passion for cars, and loved to bowl, but number one on his list was being with his wife Gabby and visiting restaurants and the casino in Lincoln and Connecticut.

Besides his wife he leaves two brothers Robert Levesque of Windsor, MO and Roland Levesque of Slatersville, a sister Gertrude Kafalas of Slatersville and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Rene, and Antonio Levesque and Dora Baril. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Jude’s Church, Front St. in Lincoln. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude’s Church, 104 Church St. Lincoln, RI in his memory would be appreciated.
