Patricia Watson Hulett, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Minister Teressa McDuffie and Yvonne Clark will give eulogies. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hulett was born June 6, 1941, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Victor Wesley & Mable Irene Clark Watson. She was a 1958 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and a former employee of Wilcox State Prison. She enjoyed fishing and working with ceramics. Her friends and family will remember her as a wonderful cook. She was a loyal fan of the Purple Hurricane and enjoyed attending games and, when unable to go in person, listening to the games on the radio. She was of the Baptist faith and she attended the Fitzgerald Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years. Robert E. Hulett; a son and daughter-in-law: Victor & Linda Hulett; a daughter and son-in-law: Jeanine & Greg Freeman, all of Fitzgerald; her grandchildren: Victoria Lynn Daniels and her husband Chris, Eric Freeman, and Josef Freeman; a great-grandson, Range Freeman; and a sister and brother-in-law: Karen Davis & Bo of Irwin County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarke Watson.
