New Bedford – Gerald Ambrose II, age 46, died, unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was the son of the late Sandra (Perry) Ambrose-Isabelle and the late Gerald Ambrose. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Gerald was a Commercial Fisherman for 23 years currently aboard the Vila Nova DeCorvo I.
His family includes his 3 children: Ashley Ambrose of Fairhaven, Gerald Ambrose of New Bedford and Arianna Ambrose; 6 siblings: Marcus Ambrose of Wareham, Heidi Claudio and Heather Ambrose, both of New Bedford, Crystal Collette of Taunton, George Isabelle, Jr. and Sandra Niles, both of New Bedford as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ambrose will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Seamen’s Bethel on February 28 at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
