WESTBROOK- John Benjamin Thompson Sr., age 67, a longtime US Army Medic and LPN at the Cumberland County Jail and Windham Correctional Center, passed away on Dec. 30, 2014.
He is predeceased by his brother- Joseph Thompson Jr.
John is survived by his beloved wife- Pearl (Cornish) Thompson; children- Kimberly Acosta of ME, John Thompson Jr. of CO, and Shawna Thompson and her companion John Bracey of Westbrook; sister- Sharon McKeaman; grandchildren- Sciera, Alex, Raven, Bryce, and Johnny; nunerous cousins including Mary Thompson; and dear friends- Merle Hartford of Scarborough and Don and Franny Pride of Portland.
Per John's request, there will be no services.
