EDWARDS - Joseph Anthony "Tony" Edwards, 49, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Tony was born October 2, 1965 in Jacksonville, FL and was a life-long resident.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Ashley Taylor, who passed away in 2007.
Survivors include his parents, Joe and Thelma Edwards; a brother and sister in law, Glenn and Rhonda Edwards; three sisters and brothers in law, Teresa and Richard Wood, Debbie and Clint Gilley, and Connie and Ralph Gilbert; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Gavin Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, in the chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
