Edith L. (Desjardins) Travers, 99, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Travers, Jr.
Born in Westport, daughter of the late Napoleon and Esther (Babcock) Desjardins, she was a lifelong resident of the town. Mrs. Travers enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son: Joseph Travers, III of Westport; her daughter: Mary L. (Travers) Bowman of Westport; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
