ALVIE L. “TIM” TIPTON, 73, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014.
Tim was the joint owner with his wife of A & A Cruises, owner of T &T Rod Repair, Kentucky Colonel, and an Army veteran. Tim loved to go fishing & hunting.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Haynes & infant sister, Janet Lynn Tipton.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Faye (Ballard) Tipton; children, Robert Allen Tipton and Tina Marie Wieger; and five grandchildren, Christen, Alex Wieger, Ricky & Janice Cannon & Joni Sanchez.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday.
