Elizabeth Foskitt, 84, of Manchester, NH, died Sunday December 28, 2014 in her home. She was born in Somerville, MA on October 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (MacLean) Fraser. She had been a resident of Manchester for the past 4 years, formerly a longtime resident of Chester, NH. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by six sons, John Foskitt and wife Patricia of Auburn, NH, Alan Foskitt and wife Donna of Chester, Paul Foskitt and wife Susan of Raymond, Peter Foskitt of Chester, Phillip Foskitt and wife Brenda of Bradford, NH, and Steven A. Foskitt of Manchester; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Anne Ambrose of Ayer, MA; three brothers, John Fraser of Billerica, MA, Hugh Fraser of Stoneham, MA, and Alexander Fraser of Burlington, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foskitt was predeceased by her husband, Leonard A. Foskitt and a daughter-in-law, Sandra J. Foskitt.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 2nd from 3 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00am in St. Peter's Church, Manchester Rd., Auburn. The burial will be in Great Hill Cemetery in Chester in the Spring.
