Dianne Stone Godwin, 53, of Tifton died Monday, December 29, 2014. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Ms. Godwin will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Godwin was born on October 25, 1961 in Adel and was the daughter of Willie Ed Stone of Tifton and the late Frances Doyles Stone. She was also preceded in death by her biological mother, Ruby Taylor.
Ms. Godwin is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ray Gutierrez and Kayla King of Lenox and Frankie Dillard of Nashville; one daughter, Melissa Harris of Tifton; five brothers, Donnie O’Neal, Ronnie O’Neal and LaRue McCurdy, all of Kissimmee, Florida, Larry O’Neal of Sylvester and Gary O’Neal of Tifton; four sisters, Jackie Atkins, Cindy Pearman and Joyce Morgan, all of Kissimmee, Florida and Darlene Sumner of Tifton; and four grandchildren, Hunter Gutierrez, Cody Gutierrez, Levi Gutierrez and Jada Gutierrez.
