Obituary

SALEM - Ronald H. Fabiszewski, 84 of Salem, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, 2014, with his loving and devoted family by his side.

He was born in Salem on March 4, 1930 to the late Josephine (Duda) and Henry Fabiszewski. Ron was a graduate of Salem High School, Fitchburg State College and Salem State College. Ron was a certified master teacher (CAGS) at Marblehead High School with a teaching career spanning over 50 years. He also taught graphic design at Endicott College in Beverly.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant while serving stateside in the Corps of Engineers at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He was honorably discharged and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal at the Good Conduct Medal.

Ronald was a kind, compassionate and consummate gentleman who was devoted to his family. An engineer by nature, Ron was able to fix or invent solutions to any problem. He took enormous pride in his family and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his 7 children and spouses, Gail Morris of Beverly, Kathy and David Luzinski of Salem, Lynn and Robert McMorran of York, ME, Sherry and William DiDonato of Beverly, Steven and Magdalena Fabiszewski of Salem, Karen Fabiszewski of Salem, Laurie and Fabrizio Colitti of Salem, son-in-law James Morris of Maine, grandchildren, Erica Kane, Tiffany Kane, Gabriella Fabiszewski, Michael and Jennifer Morris, Ryan and Aimee Morris, Matteo Colitti, Jason Fabiszewski, great grandchildren, Noelle, McKaylee, Grayson, Kiera, Quinn, Chloe and several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by a son, David, his first wife Dolores, his second wife Shirley and a brother, Edward Fabiszewski

His funeral service will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 260 North St., Salem, at the Peabody Line. Visiting hours are Sunday, 4 to 7 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
