Rose Esposito, 90, of Harmony, died Wednesday, December 24th, 2014 in Cortland Place, Greenville. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Esposito, Sr. and devoted mother of the late Frank Esposito, Jr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Garzia) Passarelli. She had lived in Harmony for 36 years previously living in Greenville.
Rose had been a Purchasing Agent for A.T. Cross in Lincoln for over 20 years before retiring. She was a sports enthusiast, an avid golfer and an honorary member of the Glocester Country Club in Harmony. She enjoyed broadway shows, listening to opera and dancing.
Rose was preceded in death by her brothers Carmino and Joseph Passarelli and sisters Helen Campagna and Gilda Shugarts. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her especially her dear friend Linda Andreoni.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Tuesday morning 8:00am to 9am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, P.O.
