JAMES E. LUSH, 85, passed away December 25, 2014.
He was a retired employee of Louisville Cooperage where he worked for 41 years, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a Catholic.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Agnes Doreen Lush; his parents, Albert & Hettie Lush, and several siblings.
Survivors include his beloved wife of over 61 years, Catherine (Grant ) Lush; his children, Joseph Keith Lush, Sr. (Shirley), Frances Karen Mudd (Mike), and James Kevin Lush; grandchildren, Joseph Keith Lush, Jr., Amanda Ruchelle Bales (Kyle), Crystal Dawn Owen, and Michelle Wetzel (Mike); great grandchildren, Chloe, Molly, Gracie and Tyler; brothers, William Lush (Freda) and Joseph Lush (Barbara); sisters, Margie Hidgon and Elizabeth Clark (Eugene); and special friend, Zach Ballard.
Funeral services will be Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1256 St. Anthony Road, Clarkson, Kentucky with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and after 9 a.m. Monday at Rogers Oller Funeral Home, 115 West Main Street, Clarkson, KY.
