WORCESTER-Thomas F. Quinn, Jr., 70 of 1 Potomska Street, died Saturday, December 18th in Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Beverly A. (Morone) Quinn, 2 sons, Thomas P. and his wife Eileen A. Quinn of Paxton and James F. and his wife Betsy Quinn of Venice, FL, a daughter, Susan M. wife of Scott D. LaForest of Boxborough, a brother, William P. Quinn of Worcester and 7 grandchildren.
He was born in Worcester the son of Thomas F. Quinn, Sr. and Margaret R. (Degnan) Quinn, graduated from South High School in 1953 and obtained an associate degree in business from Worcester Junior College. He also obtained his real estate license. Mr. Quinn worked as a sales representative for 34 years in the food business until retiring in the spring from Advantage Pezrow in Foxboro. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. He was an avid gardener and golfer who was a member of Bedrock Golf Club in Rutland. He enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time with his family.
The funeral is Tuesday, December 21st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, December 20th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
