Stephen R. Griffin age 56 of E. Boston, formerly of Quincy passed away unexpectedly at home December 14th. Born and raised in Quincy he attended Quincy Schools and worked for International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4, in Boston. Beloved father of Theresa Griffin of Quincy. He is survived by his father James Griffin and his wife Nancy of Canton and was predeceased by his mother Josephine Griffin (Clark). Brother of James Griffin and his wife Rowena of Anaheim, CA and Martin Griffin of Venice, CA. Grandfather of Brendan Holloway of Quincy. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Monday morning December 29th at 10:30.
