Richard J. Aiello, 69 of Framingham, died Monday after a long illness in the Oak Knoll Healthcare Center, Framingham.
Born in Boston, he lived in Framingham for the past 30 years and formerly of Somerville. He was the son of the late Adelina (Sbuttoni) and Amadeo Aiello. Richard was a Financial Analyst for many years with United Brand. Richard was a 1967 graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Master’s Degree from Bentley College. He as an avid snow and water skier also loved sailing and was a member of the Community Boating on the Charles. Richard was also a long-time volunteer at the Framingham/Union Hospital.
Beloved husband of Lorraine (Martino) Aiello. Devoted father of Lynne Vlk and her husband Chris of Michigan. Loving grandfather of Allison, Nicholas and Kristen. Brother of Paul Aiello of Peabody, Elaine Gleason of California and the late Mariann Zensen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 - 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
