Adeline T. “Addie” Webb, 70, of Manchester, NH passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, following a long battle with COPD. She was born on January 15, 1944 in Veblen, SD, a daughter of the late Leonard and Irma (Cubis) Lawrence. She grew up on the family farm by Geneseo, ND and attended school in Geneseo through eighth grade, two years of high school at St. Francis Academy in Hankinson, ND and graduated from Lidgerwood High School in 1962. She worked for the IDS in Minneapolis, MN for three years before marrying Dale Webb of Cayuga, ND on May 1, 1965. They lived in Gwinner, ND for nine years before Melroe transferred them to Florida, then Fargo, ND, New Hampshire, and New Mexico, finally settling in Manchester, NH upon retirement. Addie did volunteer work in different schools and churches in the areas where they lived. She enjoyed her family, friends, flowers, crafts and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dale J. Webb, three sons, Bryan and wife Ellie of Hooksett, NH, Jeff and wife Robin of Burlington, VT, and Doug and wife Lisa of Goffstown, NH, five grandchildren, Kylie, Erik, Joseph, Joshua, and Drew, three brothers, Allen Lawrence, Harold Lawrence, and Ralph Lawrence; one sister, Elaine Anglo, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Ann.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:00am at Holy Rosary Parish, 21 Main Street, Hooksett, NH. Burial will be in Geneseo, ND later in the winter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Addie’s memory to Catholic Charities New Hampshire, PO Box 686, Manchester, NH 03105-5249.
