BEDFORD – Brian P. Benjamin, formerly of Taunton, died at his Bedford home on Dec. 12, 2014 at the age of 56.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late George and Frances (Stack) Benjamin.
A 1976 graduate of Taunton High School, Brian enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1977 and served for the following three years.
He was the general manager of Benjamin’s Restaurant in Taunton for over twenty-five years, and later worked at the VA Medical Center of Bedford as a chef.
Brian loved animals, and in his spare time enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include a son, Eric P. Benjamin of Taunton; a daughter, Ashlee Benjamin of Marstons Mills; two brothers, Michael Benjamin and his wife Fatima and James Benjamin and his wife Debbie, all of Taunton; a sister, Patricia Benjamin Woods of Raynham; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the Silva Funeral home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd at 7:30 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Brian’s family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home from 5 to 7:30 p.m., prior to the services.
