Max D. Wire
July 1, 1938- December 13, 2014
Max D. Wire, 76, of Anderson went to the house of the Lord on December 13, 2014 to rejoin his wife. He was born on July 1, 1938 in Elwood, Indiana the son of Harry W. and Margaret (McDaniel) Wire. He graduated from Markleville High School in 1956 and from the Anderson Apprentice School in 1970. He worked as an electrician for US Gypson Company in Wabash, Indiana for 10 years and then work 34 years with Delco Remy and Delphi retiring in 1999.
Max was a member of Bethany Christian Church, member of UAW 662, member and Past Master and Secretary of the Middletown Masonic Lodge #271, member of Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Murat Shrine, Indianapolis
Family surviving includes his three children: Mark ( wife Kelli) Wire of Muncie, Debra ( husband Gregory) King of Prattville, AL, and Angela (husband John) Wilgus of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren: William A. (Erin) Wire, Kyle M. Wire, Morgan L. Wire, Gregory L.(wife Abby) King II, Cassandra L. Payton and Lyra Wilgus; great grandchildren: Andrew and Amaya Wire; Rachel Meadows, Kris (Maxwell) King; a brother, Jerald Wire of Yorktown, and sister, Kathi Hunter of Anderson
He was preceded in death by his wife, E. Christine Wire in 2003, his mother, Margaret Wire, a son, Michael in 2005, and his father, Harry in 1986.
Masonic Rites will be at 1:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Kent Stookey officiating
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday before the funeral.
Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery
