Ruth M. (Bromley) Duncanson, age 66, of Brockton, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Tufts New England Medical Center following a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of Douglas G. Duncanson. Born in Connecticut, she was the daughter of Harlan Bromley of Mesa, AZ and the late Ruth (Stewart) Bromley. She was raised in Rockland, was a graduate of Rockland High School, and attended Massasoit Community College. Ruth was a full time homemaker and mother to her four children, and had held various jobs throughout her life. She had many hobbies and interests, of which spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Kim Cusick and her husband Bob of Florida, William Godwin and his wife Elisa of Brockton, Dorinda MacLeod of Taunton, and Heather Andrade and her husband Joe of Taunton; ten grandchildren, Kerri, Kirsten, Emily, Robby, Cassie, Jessie, Marissa, Kara, Michael, Jack and Richard, a brother Rob Bromley and sister Judy Griffin. She is also survived by her father’s wife Anne.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday 10am-12pm, followed by a funeral service at 12pm.
