Anna Lee Arkenberg, 92, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 13th, 2014 of natural causes in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Anna was born January 26th, 1922. She was a lifelong resident of Louisville, KY. She was proud of her time spent working with children at Jefferson County Schools. She was an active member of Chapel Hill United Church of Christ.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Arkenberg; parents, John and Alma Reynolds; sisters, Virginia Nunnelly, Mary Louise Eiden and Vera Barringer.
Anna enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her two children, Dennis (Donna) Arkenberg and Robin (Shelly) Arkenberg; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday December 19th from 4:00-8:00p.m., at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Ky and Saturday at the church from 9:00-10:00a.m.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 20th at 10:00a.m.at Chapel Hill United Church of Christ, 2307 Embassy Ln, Louisville, KY.
