Joyce C. Wetmore, 76

Joyce C. (Jotdan) Wetmore, age 76, of South China, Maine, formerly of Norton passed away in the presence of her loving family, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
She was the beloved wife of Leonard T. Wetmore to whom she was wed on October 20, 1958.
Born in Dedham, MA on June 28, 1938, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles H., Jr. and Lillian C. (Rice) Jordan. She grew up in Canton and was a graduate of Canton High School.
A dedicated and caring homemaker to her adoring family, Mrs. Wetmore had also formerly worked for Cumberland Farms and at the Casual Male in Foxboro.
Joyce had resided in Maine for the past 10 years and was a former longtime resident of Norton. Her favorite times spent were those with family and setting out on shopping trips.
Her other interests included painting, playing golf and warm winter months spent in sunny Florida.
In addition to her beloved husband of 56 years, she is survived by her devoted children; Deborah Y. Hoyle of Maine, James L. Wetmore and his wife Theresa of Indiana and Laurel L. Cunningham of Norton. She was the dear sister of Charles H. Jordan, III and his wife Paula of New Hampshire, Arthur W. Jordan and his wife Cheryl of Maine and the late Yvonne Jordan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the cherished grandmother of the late Mark D. Hoyle, Jr. and Michael D. Hoyle.
Her memorial service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 1:00 P.M. in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, East Main and Pine Streets, Norton. Burial will take privately at a later date.
