Gerl Lane Adams,age 63, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at home in Water Valley following a lengthy illness.
Gerl worked as an Electrical and Maintainence Supervisor for Motts/Conagra for many years and was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be held in the Appleton Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Friday evening the 17th of December from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 18, 2004 in Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. R. W. Moffett and Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Bill Stewart, Rab Stacy, Larry Stacy, William "Booty" Butts, Tyrone Wilbourn, Garry Dickey, Artie Stewart, and Richard Miles. Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Clyde Allred and Bobby Lynn Adams. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley.
Survivors include: His wife Carolyn Logan Adams: Two daughters, Sandra Wilder and Tammy Daugherty : one brother, Jerry Lynn Adams, and two granddaughters, Heidi Wilder-Busby and Jessica Lynn Daugherty all of Water Valley.
Preceding him in death were: His parents, Buford Lane Adams and Ethel Uree Howell Adams: one son, Rocky Lane Adams: one sister, Betty Ree Adams and a brother Buford Lederle Adams.
