In Taunton, December 13, 2014 Maria Luisa (Bento) Tome beloved wife of Adelino “Al” Tome died in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 68. Born and educated in Sao Miguel, Portugal, Maria was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Guilhermina (Correia) Bento. She was retired from the Swank Company working in Attleboro and Taunton. Maria was the mother of Elizabeth Wade Tome and her husband Stephen of Dighton and Susan Tome of Taunton. Loving grandmother of Gabriella and Harrison Wade of Dighton and Keelan, Denaia and Jazarah Myers of Taunton. Sister of Maria DeMelo of Brazil, Ernesto Bento of Sao Miguel, Portugal and the late Jose Bento. Funeral will be from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, December 18th at 9 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery of Taunton.
