Mr. Carl L. Wittenmyer Jr.
Martinez – Mr. Carl Lewis Wittenmyer Jr., beloved husband of Linda Wittenmyer, entered into rest on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Mark Erbland officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service time.
A lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan, “Big Daddy” was a proud Vietnam veteran and a stranger to no one. He was loved and adored by many, especially his favorite “Q-tips, Meatballs and Creeps”. His humor and generosity will never be forgotten.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his mother; Mary Wittenmyer, his sons; Carl “KC” Wittenmyer III and Steven Cowan, his daughters; Carrie Waugh and Dawn Alsop, His brothers and sisters; Frank, Don, Eddie, Bob, Carol, Sue and Pam, 18 grandchildren, including two great grandchildren.
