Joan G. (Youngberg) Waleski, 81, of Acushnet passed away Thursday December 11, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Waleski.
Born on Staten Island, NY, the daughter of the late Ewald and Auslaug (Reis) Youngberg, she lived in Huntington, Long Island for many years before moving to the New Bedford/Acushnet area 15 years ago.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Coutinho of Acushnet and Kathi Waleski of Mission, TX; eight grandchildren, Margie, Donna, Michele, Toni, Michael, Brianna, Alissa, and Jorge; and four great-grandchildren, Te-Lynn, Maya, Kevin, and Jerimiah.
