Roger E. Tetreault, 73, of New Bedford died December 12, 2014 unexpectedly at home.
He was the husband of Irene D. (Hebert) Tetreault.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Lionel P. and Bertha A. (Dugal) Tetreault, he was raised in Acushnet and lived in New Bedford most of his life.
Mr. Tetreault was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
He was formerly employed by the City of New Bedford Wastewater Department until retirement.
Mr. Tetreault enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting at his cabin in Maine and the company of his dog Nala.
Survivors include his wife; 3 daughters, Lynn Cormier and her husband Richard and Amanda Charbonneau and her husband Kurt, all of New Bedford and Christine Tetreault of Florida; a son, Dennis Tetreault and his wife Wendy of Lakeville; a brother, Lucien Tetreault of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Jeanne Frates of New Bedford, Claire Tetreault of Fairhaven and Vicki DeMello of Dartmouth; his mother-in-law, Yvette Hebert of Acushnet; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held on Monday, December 15th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 14th from 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, Inc. 355 Lexington Avenue, 15th Floor New York, NY 10017.
